With a passion for empowering individuals and a wealth of experience in the real estate industry, Dejeanette Flournoy is the driving force behind Real Real Estate 101. As a seasoned investor, general contractor, licensed realtor, educator, homeowner and serious advocate for financial literacy, Dejeanette is committed to providing individuals with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed in the world of real estate.
As a very accomplished, former NCAA Division I student-athlete and professional basketball player, Dejeanette has brought her hardworking, highly competitive, winner’s mentality into the world of real estate. With over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry in a variety of facets from negotiations to real estate development, she has become a true expert in the industry. Having navigated the highs and lows of the industry firsthand, she understands the challenges and opportunities that come with homeownership and real estate investing as a whole. As a result, she is very dedicated to helping others achieve financial independence and create lasting wealth through real estate by making strategic and well informed decisions.
Dejeanette obtained her bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Illinois-Chicago and her masters degree in administration from Northcentral University and thus has sincere passion for education, empowerment, and community building. Her journey has afforded her the opportunity to build a wonderful reputation and excellent relationships in and out of the industry and she has created this platform where individuals from all walks of life can come together to do the same as they learn, know, grow, and succeed in the pursuit of their real estate endeavors.
